We are seeking a reliable and motivated Line Cook / Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in preparing ingredients and supporting daily kitchen operations. You’ll help create high-quality dishes that meet our standards while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Duties
Assist with food preparation and cooking to ensure timely delivery of high-quality meals
Follow established recipes and menu plans to maintain consistency and flavor standards
Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling and sanitation procedures
Support kitchen operations by organizing ingredients, utensils, and supplies for efficient workflow
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping, slicing, and portioning with precision knife skills
Aid in meal assembly and plating to ensure attractive presentation for service
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and storage areas in compliance with health regulations
Qualifications
Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
Proven ability to work efficiently in fast-paced kitchen environments with excellent knife skills
Familiarity with culinary practices such as cooking, meal preparation, and food service operations
Experience working within the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred
Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and work collaboratively as part of a team
Basic cooking skills and a genuine interest in food and hospitality.
Knowledge of food safety and proper handling practices.
Ability to stay focused and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
Strong teamwork skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
