SUMMARY:Interactive Poverty Experience
DESCRIPTION:Poverty is a reality for many individuals and families in Sauk County. But unless you've experienced poverty\, it's difficult to truly understand.\n\n\n\nThe Interactive Poverty Experience helps bridge the gap from misconception to understanding by exposing you to the realities of poverty.\n\n \n\nOver the course of the IP Experience\, you will take on the identity of a real person living in poverty. You will role-play living a month in poverty trying to maintain your basic needs.\n\n\n\nAt the conclusion of the role-play\, you are invited to discuss their experience and what they learned. Everyone leaves with a challenge to discover what their next steps will be toward being a part of the poverty solution.\n\n\n\nIP Experience Details:\n\nSunday April 12th\n\n2:00-5:00pm \n\n(Come as an individual\, group\, or bring your employees/team) - FREE to attend\n\n\n\nLimited to 80 participants/session.
